DJ Bush Baby, commonly known as Michael Owor
Seasoned entertainment extraordinaire, Michael Benjamin Owor, commonly known as DJ Bush Baby, has signed for XRadio, one of the fastest growing hip stations in Tanzania. The legendary spin master will be based in Kampala, but you can catch him online every Thursday from 2pm to 4pm serving a buffet of good vibes and music.
He’s best known for his historic stint in Tanzania, having worked at Kiss FM in 1998. He would later join East Africa Radio before bringing his talents back to Radio One in Uganda. Tanzania came calling again and he carried his headphones back to East Africa TV doing the popular UG Central programme which promoted Ugandan music.
East Africa flows in his veins. He pioneered the UTAKE night at Steak Out, a brand that he’s still carrying on his back. He’s worked at Sanyu FM, XFM, Urban TV, and Next Media where he was the creative head. He’s currently the Executive Producer of Wazo Dazo, an innovative platform dedicated to discovering, nurturing, and promoting exceptional talent in diverse fields.
DJ Bush Baby’s move to XRadio furthermore shows the growth of online streaming platforms.
