Songa mbele: Bebe Cool’s son signs for Express FC

Uganda Premier League side, Express FC, has completed the signing of Bebe Cool’s talented son, Alpha ‘Thierry’ Sssali, on a 2-year deal.

After videos and photos of him posing in front of the mighty Emirates Stadium and a couple of training facilities in Europe circulated on the internet, tongues started wagging about where the young lad will take his talents next.

It seems it wasn’t all ‘mbozi za malwa’. He recently announced his exit from regional league side, Proline FC, which nurtured him and honed his footballing skills.

The 19-year-old forward has already started training with Express FC as the Red Eagles continue preparations for the coming season.

• Alpha made his debut at Proline FC senior team in 2021, in a FUFA Big League fixture against Tile and Terrazo at Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara.
• He came through Proline FC youth system and captained the U17 side.
• The youngster, who studied at Kabojja Junior and Kitante SS, has featured for Uganda U17 and U20 national teams.
